The Project

Marine Support Base
by Dordt.

Turning Suriname's oil & gas opportunity into the nation's sustainable growth — by design.

Introduction

From offshore discovery
to designed development.

Suriname stands at a historic turning point. The discovery of significant offshore oil and gas reserves creates an unprecedented opportunity — but capturing long-term national value requires more than extraction. It requires Development by Design.

Dordt. Marine Support Base is that design made real. A world-class marine and industrial facility at Plantation Dordrecht, Commewijne — built to provide reliable support to the offshore sector while simultaneously catalyzing the sustainable development of Suriname's greenfield Commewijne district.

The project is a joint venture under NV DORDT Gateway, combining the experience of Baitali Group — one of Suriname's most established corporations — and FIRM Engineering.
